Dougie Fraser – Property Manager
Dougie joined New View late in 2015 as Property Manager. He is currently studying for the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) examinations leading to the professional accreditation in property letting. Prior to New View he spent nearly ten years as sales manager at Windhorse Trading in Cambridge working with key clients and directing sales team activities. Originally trained as a Molecular Biologist in Scotland and having worked in both academic and pharmaceutical environments, he developed an interest in Bioethics whilst working for a Cambridge biotechnology company. His interest subsequently broadened into an exploration of the role of ethics in the modern world, and particularly in business. This is what drew him first of all to Windhorse, and now New View Residential. He has lived in Cambridge for the last 15 years.
Mike Silver - Director
After completing an economics degree in Manchester Mike moved to Cambridge to work with a charitable business of which he became a director. There he was involved in a broad range of management activities including Human Resources, business planning and marketing. Before joining and becoming a director of New View Residential he was involved in property management for a charitable Trust for over 20 years. As well as developing and maintaining their property portfolio he managed many building projects including refurbishment of 15 century Grade II listed house and the fit out of a large new warehouse. Mike is a member of the Association of Residential Letting agents (MARLA). Having worked in social enterprise business all his life Mike is keen to bring these ethical principles to the arena of residential letting.
