New View supports local charities
A letting agent in Cambridge that donates all of its profits to charity? Now there’s a new view!
Integral to its operation, New View Residential Ltd, a letting agent in Cambridge, makes donations to local and national charities. This Autumn 2015, on behalf of our landlords and staff, we are delighted to have donated a total of £4,306. We believe that it is important that business is not solely for profit and that through sharing our profits we can help others in need. Through working with us and choosing where they would like this help to go, our landlord clients share in this vision.
John Linney, who co-ordinates the donations on behalf of New View Residential’s tenants, explains how the policy works. “We’re not one of the big boys in the residential letting world, but as a letting agent in Cambridge, we do believe we can make a positive contribution and offer a helping hand through positive action,” he comments. “At New View Residential we’re pleased to donate all of our profits to charity without an upper limit – the more profit we make, the more we can give away!
“Half of the profit is donated to charities nominated by our employees and the other half to charities nominated by our landlords. We are grateful to all our clients and staff such that, this year, New View Residential has been able to donate to a wide range of organisations.”
