The Wildlife Trusts’ goal is nature’s recovery, on land and at sea. The Trusts’ recognise how important nature is in all aspects of our daily lives and believe it should be at the heart of our society. To achieve this they stand up and work for nature on all fronts. They rescue and restore places for wildlife and people, and influence and help others to do the same. Each year the Wildlife Trusts reach millions of people to inspire them about wildlife and the natural world.
Every Wildlife Trust is run by and accountable to the local people passionate about the wildlife and wild places in their area. Together they have a mission to create Living Landscapes, to secure Living Seas and to inspire people to value and take action for nature.

The Blue Cross finds happy homes for abandoned or unwanted pets and keeps pets healthy by promoting welfare and providing treatment.
“We are always enormously grateful for such donations, as we receive no government funding and rely entirely on the generosity of supporters like you and your colleagues.
As you are probably aware, Blue Cross finds homes for over 6,000 animals every year and we provide in excess of 60,000 free veterinary treatments through our four animal hospitals annually. We also promise never to put a healthy animal to sleep simply because it has no home. It is thanks to the generosity of our supporters that we are able to fulfil this promise and perform our vital role in animal welfare.
Thank you again for your kind gift, every single penny we get makes a difference to the lives of the animals we help.”
